Job description

About us

To support our business growth, we are creating a new opportunity for a talented individual with a combination of medical writing and project management skills to join us in Evida. This hybrid role will work alongside our experienced team supporting our consultancy business and taking accountability for an established meetings account. This position can be based from our Manchester office with some home-working flexibility.

Evida partners with clients on a diverse array of consultancy projects and as such our work is ever-changing. Examples of activities that this role could cover include:

Medical writing/scientific:

  • Management of content for HCP meetings
  • Attendance at virtual and F2F meetings
  • Generation of content for scientific platforms
  • Competitor landscape monitoring
  • Developing referenced content for marketing materials

Project management:

  • Management of project processes with accountability for delivery
  • Involvement in proposal and work order development
  • Collation of information for new business opportunities

About you

As a medical writer with at least a year of medical communications agency experience, you will be comfortable working across a range of deliverables – but you will also be ambitious and interested in commercial and strategic initiatives. You will enjoy crafting concise and accurate content, managing projects from briefing to delivery, and the opportunity to work closely with clients.

Your self-motivation, skill for planning and willingness to get involved will be central to your work. You will reflect the key attributes that we look for in all colleagues, which are:

  • Intellectual curiosity: you will have strong academic record (BSc or higher scientific degree)
  • Teamwork and collaboration: you will be an enthusiastic team member, collaborating with colleagues both locally and internationally to deliver industry-leading client service
  • An exceptional eye for detail: you will be passionate about the technical accuracy of your work
  • Accountability and responsibility: you will take responsibility for your workload and deadlines

We are committed to developing the careers of our team members and encourage colleagues to create their own career path; we are a job-title-free business that offers progression based on knowledge, skills and ambition. We value creativity and encourage colleagues to offer ideas that further the success of our business, and in return, we offer competitive salaries and a great benefits package, including two industry-leading annual bonus schemes, a generous pension scheme, life and income protection insurance, and 25 days’ annual leave plus public holidays.
